Overseas nurses programme UK (ONP)

If you are a Non EU trained nurse you will have to complete the overseas nurse programme to complete your registration with NMC:

Professional Connections's client hospitals will assist you to undertake the ONP and the hospital will pay for it.  This is done for candidates who have an offer of employment with the Trust. If you are an Indian, Filipino, Australian or New Zealand nurse we can assist you.

The ONP sets out common entry standards, a compulsory 20-day period of protected learning for all nurses trained outside the European Economic Area (EEA) and, where appropriate, a period of supervised practice.
